What We Believe About Spiritual Growth
Our ministry is for anyone seeking truth about life and eternity. We are a fellowship of Christians who study the Holy Bible to interpret the sacred commands in whatever ways most line up with Christ’s clear call to holiness. Holiness is willful obedience to God. (2 Corinthians 7:1; Jude 1:20-25) And holiness is not just having enough obedience to be accepted by significant others, but it means having an ever-increasing obedience, as the Day of Christ’s return draws nearer.
Not only is it true that obedience is what gives evidence that our love for God our Maker is real (John 14:15), but it’s also true that the more we obey God, the greater our eternal reward in Heaven will be. (Matthew 5:12; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 2 John 1:8-9) That’s what successful spiritual growth, toward Christlikeness, is all about.
Growing in Christ requires an eager willingness to excel more and more at obeying the commands of the Holy Bible, in honor of the Holy Trinity of God. Below this section, we invite you to click on the various topics to read more about how to grow spiritually stronger, storing up greater eternal treasure in Heaven, to someday enjoy forever with the True Lord God and all of His true followers.
What We Believe About the Bible
A person’s spiritual beliefs about the Holy Bible are of utmost importance. Your own beliefs about the Bible are your doctrine, whether you are right or wrong, and whether your beliefs are true or false. The Bible verse, Proverbs 23:7, makes it so clear that we are whatever we think about or believe. What you believe not only determines who you are, but it also determines where you are headed, and how you will spend eternity after this relatively brief, temporary life here on Earth. Spiritual beliefs are really everything. When it comes to Judgment Day, whatever you will have chosen to believe about the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word, the Holy Bible, will totally matter.
What We Believe About the Only Way to Heaven
If you haven’t already, we hope and pray you will soon discover that Jesus Christ is The True and Narrow Gate. Jesus is the only Way that leads to Heaven. (John 14:6) Throughout this site, you will find out why that is true. We also want to share how you can be sure you are on the only road that leads to Heaven, having sincerely trusted Jesus to rule your heart’s choices and to lead your life’s direction.
For Jesus Christ clearly and lovingly warned us that “there are few who find” (Matthew 7:14b NASB) the difficult and narrow way that leads to Heaven’s gate. Few, that is, in comparison to the multitudes, who will have to suffer the just eternal penalty of hell, because of their having either carelessly, apathetically or rebelliously chosen the broad and easy road, “that leads to destruction” (Matthew 7:13b). All who deny Jesus as their Lord and Master will have to spend eternity separated from Him, His Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit, who together, are the one and only True Living God.
True love lets people know when they’re headed in the wrong direction on a one-way road. And true love lets truly loved ones know that making a life commitment to honor and obey Jesus as Lord is the only Way to Heaven.
What We Believe About Living Right
It is our deep desire to help you make sure you are one of the few souls the Bible says will have chosen Jesus, as your Lord and Savior, before Judgment Day comes. Choosing Jesus, and His true and narrow way of righteousness, or right living, is a decision you need to make before your opportunity to do so comes to an end. Just living in the moral and right ways of the Bible, without having a right relationship with Christ, could never save anyone. Merely trying to be good cannot get
anyone into Heaven, because all are sinners, who need a perfect Savior. But after a person has been saved by God’s grace, born again to new life in Christ, living by His morally right ways of love certainly does give observable evidence that they truly are headed for Heaven. (John 3:1-7; Matthew 3:8)
We pray with all our hearts you will choose the straight and narrow way, found only in loving the risen Lord Jesus Christ. For Jesus said, many times, that if we love Him, we will obey Him. (John 14:15) Choosing to follow Jesus Christ means choosing His right ways of living as blamelessly as possible, with His help and spiritual power. It’s the only way that leads to eternal life in Heaven. We want to help you realize, the one and only eternally true and triune God of all time without end, yes, the Creator of all that exists, and ever will exist, is your Maker, who loved you enough to make a way for you to spend eternity with Him in Heaven.
What We Believe About Legacy and True Love
We believe that true love does not sin against God, just as true love wants the very best for others. When we sin against God, we also sin against those we aspire to love. Failing to set a right example for others is not true love, nor is failing to lovingly speak the hard truth to them. And failing to leave behind a legacy of truth, about the right ways to live, is failing to love God, as well as failing to love others. The thing that will matter most, after this quickly-passing life here on Earth, is whether or not we helped others understand the right ways to live for God, according to the unchanging truth of His Word, the Holy Bible.
What We Believe About Christ and the Holy Trinity
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God, and that He always has been, without beginning or end, along with His Holy Father and the Holy Spirit. The one and only True God, also referred to as the Holy Trinity, is the Holy Father, His perfect Holy Son, who is the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Together, the three of Them are the Lord God, eternally united as One in such a perfect way that finite human minds will never be able to fully comprehend the truth and reality of the Holy Trinity on this side of Heaven. But once we’ve been welcomed into Heaven, we will finally know and understand all things, even as we “have been fully known” by the Lord (1 Corinthians 13:12 NASB), ever since long before He even created us!
While reading this website, or whenever reading the Holy Bible, or any other truly Christian writing, if ever the word “God” is used to refer only to the Holy Father, or only to the Holy Spirit, never will it be implied that Jesus Christ is not also God. Jesus is God! And as in God’s Word, the Holy Bible, both singular and plural pronouns can be used to refer to God. (Genesis 1:26; 11:7) Furthermore, when a person is sincerely praying to one Person of the Holy Trinity, we can rest assured that all three Persons of the Holy Trintiy are hearing every sincere prayer in perfect unity, with perfect empathy, wisdom and love.
What We Believe About Eternity
Eternity means existing forever, aware of one’s feelings without end. Only God is eternal in that He had no beginning, and He will have no end. The Bible reveals that all angelic and human beings had a beginning, having been created by God. But all angelic and human beings will exist for forever, that is, for the remainder of eternity, either in Heaven, at peace with God, or in hell, in agony with Satan.
We believe the Bible reveals that Satan was the first rebellious angel to be cast out of Heaven. Satan is also referred to in the Holy Bible as Lucifer, Beelzebub, Belial, the devil, the deceiver, the evil one, the accuser, the adversary, the tempter, the serpent, the dragon, the wicked one, “a roaring lion” (1 Peter 5:8), “the prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2), and “the god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4). But, praise God, we know the final chapter, that, in the end, Satan will spend the rest of eternity, suffering in a lake of unquenchable fire because of his rebellion against God. (Revelation 20:10)
What We Believe About Assurance of Eternal Salvation
We fully believe that once a person is saved by God’s grace, and simultaneously sealed by the Holy Spirit, they will always be saved and sealed, for all eternity. Christ promises, “no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand” (John 10:29 NKJV). But we are also fully aware that the Bible says many will be deceived about the authenticity of their salvation, or the lack of it, thinking they are headed for Heaven, when really, they never were. (Matthew 7:21-23) Jesus clearly warned that many will claim, on Judgment Day, that they did many great things in His name, but He will have to tell them to depart from His holy presence, because their claim to Christianity was really just a travesty of false pretense.
What We Believe About Eternal Reward
If you are already a born again Christian, you could never lose your salvation. But the sooner you repent of subsequent sins you commit, the greater your eternal reward in Heaven will be. Each time you sin, you are forfeiting some of your eternal reward, robbing God, as well as hurting the whole family of God, also called the body of Christ.
Being a true Christian requires wanting to please God, by living life His way, instead of your own. We not only want to help you make sure you truly are a born again Christian (John 3:3-7), but we also want to help you grow more spiritually equipped to “store up for yourselves treasure in heaven” (Matthew 6:20 NASB). We so hope and pray you will read on, asking the Lord God to open the eyes of your spiritual understanding, for your own sake, as well as for your loved ones. All to God’s highest glory, honor and praise!
“20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. 22 And have mercy on some, who are doubting;” “23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. 24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, 25 To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.” Jude 1: 20–22 (NASB), Jude 1: 23–25 (NKJV)
